RECIPE: Chocolate Waffles with Salted Tahini Caramel Sauce

Chocolate Waffles with Salted Tahini Caramel Sauce Landscape

Ingredients:

1/2 cup All Purpose GF flour

1 flax egg (1 Tbsp ground flaxseed & 3 Tbsp water mixed and left for 15 mins)

1/4 tsp xanthan gum

1 tsp coconut oil

1 heaped tsp cacao powder

1 tsp granulated stevia (more to taste)

1/4 cup almond milk (to desired consistency)

 

Method:

  1. Blend until smooth
  2. Cook in an oiled waffle maker for 2 minutes

 

Salted Tahini Caramel Sauce: 

1 tsp tahini

3 tsp maple syrup

Pinch of pink Himalayan salt

Splash of boiling water to desired consistency

Mix well
